A movement to rebuild humanity — one woman, one man, one truth at a time
This isn’t a business.
It’s a rebellion wrapped in healing
From Pain to Purpose.
I didn’t set out to build a business.
I set out to understand why we break — and how we heal.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried the weight of trauma. I’ve witnessed how unhealed childhood wounds follow us into adulthood: shaping our relationships, our self-worth, our ability to feel safe in the world.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve studied neurodiversity, mental health, and the human mind — searching for answers, for patterns, for meaning. What I found was this: the system that raises us often disconnects us from who we truly are.
YTT was born from that truth.
From the deep understanding that healing isn’t just personal — it’s collective.
It’s the quiet revolution of remembering our wholeness, and creating spaces where others can do the same.
By returning to the ways of our grandparents — by adopting a lifestyle rooted in connection, collaboration, and care — we can bring change to a system that is cracking under its own weight.
Writing healed me.
Community healed me.
Nature healed me.
Bringing these truths together once felt like a stretch, until I remembered: this was how life was lived for many, not so long ago. We haven’t lost our way — we’ve simply forgotten who we are.
“I am not here to fit in. I am here to break the mould, and light the path for others”
YTT’S MISSION
YTT exists to bring truth and humanity back to the world — starting with our stories.
We challenge the systems, narratives, and conditioning that silence, shape, and shame people out of their innate wisdom. We name what has been normalised but is not natural, and we create space for truth to be felt, spoken, and lived.
Through writing, guidance, and embodied practice, YTT offers tools for healing, the courage to speak honestly, and the permission to become who you were before the world taught you to disappear.
This is not about fixing people.
It is about remembering.
YTT is more than a business. It is a living body of work devoted to healing pain at its roots — within individuals, families, culture, and education itself — so future generations are not asked to carry what was never theirs to begin with.
We believe real change does not come from noise or performance, but from quiet truth, personal responsibility, and lived example. This is where healing becomes action, and action becomes legacy.
Our Mission: To Awaken, Heal, and Empower
The Pillars of YTT
Truth
We speak what others are afraid to say — about systems, silence, and the shadows we’ve learned to live with.
Truth can be uncomfortable, confronting, even painful — but it’s also the doorway to freedom.
At YTT, we don’t shy away from the hard conversations. We name what hurts, we face what’s hidden, and we walk together through the parts of ourselves and our world that need to be seen.
Because truth isn’t destruction — it’s liberation. It’s where transformation begins.
Freedom
Freedom is more than a word. It’s a state of being.
It’s the quiet knowing that you are safe to be who you truly are — without performance, apology, or permission.
We believe in freedom from fear, from expectation, from systems that tell us who to be and how to feel.
When we learn to trust ourselves again, we stop living in survival and start living in authenticity.
This is what freedom looks like — women unlearning the need to shrink, children being taught to use their voice, and communities that choose compassion over control.
Healing
Healing is the foundation of everything we do.
It is not weakness — it is the greatest act of rebellion in a world that profits from pain.
We believe healing is both personal and collective. It begins with self-awareness but ripples outward — through families, classrooms, and generations.
To heal is to meet yourself with love where there once was shame, and to rewrite the story that once defined you.
At YTT, healing isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you otherwise.
Empowerment
Empowerment is not about fixing people — it’s about reminding them of their own power.
We don’t rescue; we guide.
We don’t dictate; we listen.
We don’t build followers; we awaken leaders.
Empowerment begins with radical self-responsibility — knowing that no one is coming to save us, but we have the power to save ourselves.
When women rise, they teach children to rise. When children grow up free, they change the future.
Empowerment is how we change the world — one woman, one child, one truth at a time.
Revolution
Our final pillar is action — the revolution that happens when truth, freedom, healing, and empowerment meet.
YTT isn’t here to fit neatly into a system; it’s here to transform it.
Through education reform, coaching, collaboration, and conscious living, we are dismantling what no longer serves and rebuilding with love, logic, and humanity.
This is the quiet revolution — the one that begins in hearts, classrooms, and homes.
Because when one person awakens, it creates a ripple that can heal the world.
YTT is more than a movement.
It’s a call back to truth, a journey into freedom, a commitment to healing, and a revolution of empowerment.
Together, we rise — for ourselves, for our children, for the world.
Core Values
Authenticity
We show up as we are — real, raw, and honest. There’s no power in perfection; only in truth
Courage
We show up as we are — real, raw, and honest. There’s no power in perfection; only in truth
Compassion
We hold space for the pain, the learning, and the becoming — with gentleness and grace.
Action
We don’t just talk about transformation. We live it. Awareness means nothing without movement.
What
we do
Through journalism, coaching, and social advocacy, YTT reimagines what it means to heal, live, and learn.
We interview ordinary yet extraordinary people, sharing real stories that restore dignity, truth, and power to voice.
We offer 1:1 transformational coaching programmes designed to rebuild self-worth, restore inner peace, and support lasting change.
Through Ophelia, we explore the quiet depths of everyday life — the highs, the lows, and the courage it takes to show up with honesty and presence.
We champion change through Silent Protest: small, intentional acts that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create collective impact without noise.
More About Lorna
I have been on a journey of self-discovery throughout most of my thirties. In 2019, my husband took his own life, and through the trauma of finding him and the aftershock of grief that followed, I was forced to examine my life through a different lens. From as young as I can remember, I dreamed of collecting letters after my name—but instead of BSc, MBA, or PhD, I ended up with FND, NEAD, and AuDHD.
Life has thrown challenge after challenge at me, and for a long time, I believed I was not only the problem, but that I was failing—spectacularly—at life. The real failure, it turns out, was never recognising the strength I carried through each trial. Every time I fell, I got back up, determined not to let it break me. Homelessness. Rape. Physical abuse. Grief. Disability. Child loss. These were not accolades I wanted, nor did I ever seek them out, but when I found myself in a darkness that made a black hole seem preferable, I was forced—again—to see my life differently.
For all the self-hatred I had piled onto myself, for all the crushing weight of perceived lost potential, I had overlooked the resilience, determination, and sheer willpower that had carried me through one more day, time and time again. That counted for something. In that void, I began to appreciate what I had, rather than what I didn’t—and everything began to change.
Something within me flipped, and a new path opened before me. I am still walking it, and its quiet wonder is a far cry from the years spent consumed by anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. If nothing else, I hope to guide others toward their own new path—so they, too, can feel the release I’ve found from the grip of their own ego.
It is on this new path that I reconnected with all the things I loved—and realised I had abandoned myself along the way. I had been swept into a world that valued consumerism over stewardship, hustle over mindfulness, and burnout over balance, calling it ambition while it quietly hollowed me out. I created YTT to bring all these truths together and showcase how an alternative way of living is not far-fetched, but the inner yearning we have as human beings.
